U.S. stock Tesla stock outlook

Recently, the U.S. stock market is in full swing. Starting with financial stocks, major companies, including air travel stocks and Tesla, are disclosing their performances one after another. I mainly include technology stocks in my portfolio, so the return rate continues to be negative this year, and I'm glad that Tesla's performance announcement is so good. Today, we will look at Tesla's stock performance and future prospects.

TSLA Tesla Shares

I'm sure a lot of people know about Tesla's stock. It is the most held stock by Korean U.S. stock investors, called Seohak Ant, and I also account for the highest proportion of Port. As such, Tesla shares are highly expected to rise. However, as you can see, the market was not good, with NASDAQ listed with major technology stocks at -12.5% this year and SPY ETF, which follows 500 blue-chip U.S. companies, also at -6.4%. Tesla shares, one of the leading growth stocks, were also struggling, and I hope this earnings announcement will make the atmosphere go well.

Major points of Tesla performance announcement

AlphaStreet's Telsa 2022 1Q, which provides a summary of corporate earnings reports, showed sales of $18.8 BIL, up 81% from the same period last year, and more than 100% increase in EPS (net profit per share) of $3.22. Until recently, the stock price of related stocks was not very good along with the global semiconductor supply chain issue, so Tesla was also concerned about vehicle production and sales, but it blew it away coolly. What's amazing about this earnings report is that sales rose from the previous quarter, but the earnings per share forecast was $2.24 and it reported a high result of nearly $1 per share. Despite many unfavorable factors such as inflation, supply chain issues, and interest rate hikes, profitability has risen tremendously. It also seems to have played a part in the strong branding power that can freely increase vehicle prices as the price of vehicle parts increases. Vehicle delivery and production remained similar to the previous quarter. If this continues, it will be possible to reach 1.5 million vehicles in 2021, exceeding 930,000 vehicles. Even 300,000 units per quarter is 1.2 million units, so I think it's enough. Almost all sectors reported high-speed growth, including an increase of more than 100% in operating profit and a rise of 32.9% in net profit from automobiles.

TSLA Tesla Stock Price

Finbiz's TSLA share price has continued to show an upward trend since hitting a low of 700 at the end of February. I'm looking forward to seeing if I can break through the high point.

TSLA Future Profit and Loss Forecast

Stock prices are volatile, but Tesla's future profit and loss outlook shows an upward trend. Although we are concerned about rising raw material prices, we are also raising vehicle prices, so if it is not a problem with vehicle production, we will continue to grow high. TSLA Current P/E Trends === TSLA's P/E GAAP chart for the past year. P/E is called PER in Korea, and it is the price divided by the stock price per share, which is an indicator of how high the stock price is compared to the net profit. A year ago, Tesla's P/E went up to 600 to 800 times, but now it is moving at 200 times, so it is definitely considered low compared to the previous high evaluation. Apple's P/E is currently moving between 26 and 32 times and Microsoft between 30 and 38 times, so it's trading much higher than this, but Tesla was originally trading very high, so it seems difficult to directly compare. For your information, Apple and Microsoft are also showing low P/E. Overall, most technology stocks form low PE.

TSLA Tesla Stock Forecast

According to TipRanks' TSLA stock price forecast, the target stock price is expected to fall -5.36% from the current stock price to $1,009, with 15 buying, 6 holding, and 6 selling opinions. It hasn't been updated since the performance announcement, so I think we can just look at it as a reference. The Earning Surprise has caused about 10 percent of the stock prices to move upward. Personally, I hope it will continue to rise, but volatility seems to be an indispensable item. There are still many concerns about Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and China's blockade could lead to more plant shutdowns and global supply chain issues. In addition, it is said that interest rate hikes will be raised more than twice by 0.5% after the FOMC meeting, so distributed investment, divided investment, and risk management are essential. In particular, I think we should be careful about additional investment after the surge.
